Why the Workshop

What shapes how we work

Bench-Level Attention

Every watch is handled individually. We do not batch-process or rush work to meet volume targets. Your piece sits on the bench until it is properly attended to.

Written Records

Each service produces a written record of the work performed, parts replaced, and any conditions noted. You leave with a paper trail, not just a running watch.

Reversible Approach

Particularly for vintage and inherited pieces, we favour reversible methods. Nothing is done that cannot, in principle, be undone by a future watchmaker.

Scope Agreed First

For restoration and more complex work, we discuss scope and cost before anything begins. No surprises on collection day.

Timing Machine Verification

Mechanical work is completed with a rate report from the timing machine. You can see the numbers, not just take our word for accuracy.

Central Bangkok Location

Situated on Charoen Krung Road in Bang Rak, the workshop is reachable by BTS, MRT, or river boat. Drop-off and collection at the bench, no post required.

Get in Touch

Your watch is worth a proper look.

Whether it stopped yesterday or has sat in a drawer for years, bring it in. We'll tell you what it needs and what it will cost, before any work begins.

Questions

Common workshop enquiries

How long does a mechanical service take?

Most bench services for hand-wound and automatic watches are completed within seven to fourteen working days. More complex pieces, or those requiring parts sourcing, may take longer — we discuss realistic timelines at drop-off.

Do you work on all watch brands?

We work on a wide range of Swiss, Japanese, and vintage mechanical movements. If you have an unusual or particularly specialist piece, bring it in for an assessment first so we can confirm whether it falls within our scope.

What does the service coverage period cover?

After a bench service, we provide a service-coverage period for the movement work carried out. The coverage period and what it includes are explained in full at drop-off and noted on your service record. It relates to the work we performed, not to general wear or accidental damage.

How is pricing for vintage restoration determined?

Vintage and heritage pieces vary considerably in their condition and parts availability. We assess the watch first, outline what the work involves, and agree on a scope and price before anything begins. The ฿32,500 figure represents a typical starting point for full restoration work.

Can I leave my watch for a same-day battery service?

Standard quartz models with accessible case backs are typically completed on the same day. We recommend calling ahead if your schedule is tight, as some days are busier than others. Unusual case constructions or custom seals may require an extra day.

Is my watch safe while at the workshop?

Pieces are stored in our locked premises and handled only at the bench. We keep a log of every watch received. For particularly valuable pieces, we are happy to discuss any additional care requirements when you bring it in.

Do you offer postal services or do I need to visit in person?

We prefer in-person drop-off and collection on Charoen Krung Road. This lets us note the watch's condition together at receipt and gives you the opportunity to discuss any concerns directly. We do not currently offer a postal service.
